Project background: For the monitoring of harmful gases in port containers, manual sampling inspection is generally adopted at domestic and foreign ports. The problems of this monitoring method are as follows: it is difficult to operate, the overall process speed is slow, safety risks exist in the detection process, and toxic gases may cause harm to operators.
Solution: According to the customer's actual requirements, combined with the on-site monitoring environment, SIMANC engineers put forward a solution combining "robot + radiation detection technology".
When the container with the demand for radiation monitoring reaches the inspection site, the radiation monitoring robot in the inspection area runs to the detection area under the remote control of the inspection personnel, and automatically opens the inspection and monitoring mode. After the inspection and monitoring work is finished, the inspection personnel return the radiation detection robot to the starting station by remote control. After the port adopts the monitoring and handling scheme, the monitoring efficiency of hazardous radiation of container products at the port is greatly improved, and the monitoring efficiency of cargo at the port is greatly improved. During the monitoring process, inspectors do not need to reach the inspection point, and personal safety risks are greatly reduced.
